About CanonWiki
Scope and sources
CanonWiki is a reference for fiction. This early catalog contains title descriptions, creator credits, release information and links to original publishers and official sites.
Works and adaptations
Original works and adaptations have separate entries. Release dates are labeled by edition or region rather than combined into one ambiguous date.
Descriptions and sources
Descriptions identify whether they come from an editorial introduction, an official publisher synopsis or a catalog source. Long descriptions may be excerpted. Numbered references identify the source for each credit, publication fact and installment link. Covers link to their source and disclose their edition where verified; artwork ownership remains with its rights holders.
Current coverage
Catalog entries contain title metadata. Where an extracted reference edition is linked, it has its own stated source boundary and observation coverage. Catalog descriptions may reveal story information. Source observations and edition boundaries do not by themselves establish a qualified spoiler-free experience.
